A giant, earthy mound with gut-like forms exploding from its forest, hovering over a mountain range, whilst shooting laser? Yes please.

A giant, earthy mound with gut-like forms exploding from its forest, hovering over a mountain range, whilst shooting laser? Yes please.

This here is a portrait of a fighter that is said to have punched a guy so hard in the face that his eyeball actually fell out! Last time I saw, he was contending in the UFC octagon. And he was winning!
I made this for the gosh darn sake of it.

The Uppercase Gallery in Calgary has a show coming up on October 18th that’s all about nightmares. It will be up until the 2nd of November. This is the piece I’ve submitted. It’s about guts and how they can sometime be quite the burden.
So go to the Gallery, buy it, and make the world a better place.
There’s this funny family story I’ve been “illustrating” recently, but be warned, I won’t reveal it here / now. It’s part of a slightly larger personal art / cartooning project that has slowly been in the making for a little while now. It should probably come in four parts, but things can change. So far half of it revolves around funny happenings in good ol’ Saskatchewan. Enough mindless blabber, here are two portraits pertaining to one of those fore mentioned tales…

Maybe this man is the bad guy?

…perhaps the victim?
(this is the part of the blog that Genevieve dictates me to write…)
And as promised dear readers, here is a sketch from the ol book of dreams. Not sure what its about though. Bought some new brushes and started to poop it out, art-style…
