I was out of town for my nephew’s hilarious birthday and returned to a swamp of work, thus the recent lack of updates. If you’re in Toronto you can see the above slob as well as a few other spot characters, and a cover, for this week’s issue of Eye Weekly. It’s their Renew guide and Taylor Shute, their super-cool-nice-guy AD, trusted me enough to get back to my old Rapidograph roots for this one, which I felt suited the need for slobby characters, e.g. Wolverton / Crumb. I feel this style is definitely most true to my “heart”. Anyway.

Once that was completed I was slammed with a last minute  illo for Transworld Snowboarding– for the last issue of the volume as well. *SNIFF*. I also took it through the recently admired Rapidograph filter. You should see in the coming months once it’s finally printed. I’ll miss working for them in the coming months up until it comes back into business late spring. Always silly times…
